Ropeway and Chair lift:

A cable is connected from Joshimath to Auli which is 3.5km rope connected with two cabin carryng 25 passenger each up and down. Auli cable car also called locally as Gondola and connects Auli with Joshimath. It has tota 10 towers covering in 24minutes one way A magnificent view of Himalayan peaks and down far joshimath town. Cabin following the huge oak and pine forest and then auli meadow until reaching 3000mter where cabin stop. Enjoy the gandola ride starting from 9am to 4pm. Chair lift at auli start at 9am and end at 4pm covering 800meter. Chair lift work round the year.


Hanuman Temple and Artifical lake Auli:
Hanuman temple is opposte to GMVN chair lift and well known Hanuman temple at Auli. Best view of Mt Nandadevi and Dronagiri and other peaks can be seen from here. After taking chair lift just 200 meter walk towards the cliff top resort auli you can see man made artifical lake which is cover with water round the year. Sitting chairs are there and one can enjoy the loft himalayan peaks from here. Swimming and boating is not allowed here.

Gurosn Bughyal :
The famous meadow Gorson Bugyal. Gurson Bugyal (Gorso Bugyal) is located at an altitude of 3056 mts, just 3 kms trek from Auli. Gorson Bugyal is a picturesque meadow spread amidst a forest of Oak, Deodar and conifers. Gorson Bugyal transforms into an eye-catching green beauty during spring and blanketed with snow during winters. In summer season, the meadows become a perfect place to enjoy hiking and gloriously basking in the sun. It is always a pleasure to the senses to watch the distant range of snow-capped mountains.  

Chattra kund lake: About Chattra lake Trek
Chattrakund is a small lake of sweet crystal clear water near Auli, Joshimath. Located at an elevation around 3300 mts above sea level, Chattrakund is surrounded by lush green forest. Chattrakund lake is situated at a distance of 4 km from Auli and 3 km from Gurso Bugyal.
