Auli is nestled in the lap of snow-capped peaks of Garhwal Himalayas, in the Chamoli district of Uttrakhand, near the world famous religious shrine of Badrinath. At an altitude of 2500m to 3200m above sea level, Auli’s well-dressed slopes of flanked by coniferous and oak forests, which offer a panoramic views of mountains. Itineraries for Basic Level Ski Course 2020
DAY 01
Time : 6:00 am
Haridwar to Joshimath(Auli) by Road (285km/10hrs)
On this day, we pick you up early in the morning at Haridwar Railway station/Bus stand; from where we drive to Joshimath from Haridwar via Rishikesh and Devprayag. Devprayag is a well-known, holy city which is the confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers, after this the rivers become the holy Ganga. We Arrive at Auli by the evening and check into the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay is provided.
DAY 02
Skiing Introduction& Balancing on skis
After an early breakfast, we will introduce you to our skiing instructors and skiing equipment. In the learning process you get to learn the basics of skiing, the instructor ensuresthat all the necessary actions regarding the safety and precautions of the guest are taken. On this day, you will learn Walking &balancing on skis. Side stepon snow with skis is a totally different experience.As the saying goes, you fall multiple times while learning skiing just like learning to balacne or ride a bicycle, but the one who stands once again after every fall and fights, wins ultimately.
DAY 03
Snow plough position & falling technique
After breakfast, we proceed with our skiing course. On this day you will learn snow plough position and falling techniques including crash landing at slopes. Together we explore the surroundings in the evening. And then at the end of the day, we enjoy or dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 04
Snow plough position going down and turns
On this day you will learn snow plough position going down and turns, on a gentle slope. Perfect your snow plough turns& breaking.Usually taught to beginner, the snow plough turns is a breaking and turning skiing technique. In the evening we will go to one small snow trek. And then at the end of the day, we enjoy or dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 05
Learn at advance slope
On this day of skiing course,you willbe taken to an advanced slope, which will be much longer then than the previous ones that will giveyou distance and timeto gain a lot of speed while sliding on it. After completion, you will be honoured with a certificate of appreciation.
DAY 06
Auli to Haridwar (285km/10hrs)
On this day, in early morning we drive back to Haridwar. We arriveHaridwar by evening.The course ends with a mosaic of colorful memories which would definitely be unforgettable in a highly positive manner.

- 15 Days to 30 Days prior to Arrival: 50% of the total package cost.
- 30 Days & More: 10% of package cost (and taxes are not refunded in any case)
